you have an existing instance of
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Aster and plan to upgrade to
SAS 9.4M8 or later, SAS recommends that you first unconfigure and uninstall it. For

Unconfiguring and Uninstalling Retired Products. Documentation remains for existing customers who have not upgraded to SAS
