Session Properties Action Set: Syntax

Provides actions for managing session properties

setFmtSearch Action

Sets the format libraries to search.

Note:	A format library search list determines the order in which the format libraries are searched when a format is requested. See How SAS Cloud Analytic Services Locates User-Defined Formats. Use this action to modify the search list.

CASL Syntax

sessionProp.setFmtSearch <result=results> <status=rc> /

fmtLibNames={"string-1" <, "string-2", ...>},

position="APPEND" | "CLEAR" | "INSERT" | "REPLACE"

Parameter Descriptions

fmtLibNames={"string-1" <, "string-2", ...>}

specifies one or more format library names to include in the format library search list.

Requirement	You must specify parameter fmtLibNames and include at least one format library name.

position="APPEND" | "CLEAR" | "INSERT" | "REPLACE"

specifies the position of the format libraries in the search order.

Default	REPLACE

APPEND

appends the specified list to the current search order.

CLEAR

clears the current search order.

INSERT

inserts the specified list at the beginning of the current search order.

REPLACE

replaces the current search order with the specified search order.
