FREQ Statement
FREQ freq-variable;
The FREQ statement identifies a variable (freq-variable) that contains the frequency of occurrence of each observation. PROC CNTSELECT treats each observation as if it appears n times, where n is the value of freq-variable for the observation. If the value for the observation is not an integer, it is truncated to an integer. If the value is less than 1 or missing, the observation is not used in the model fitting. When you omit the FREQ statement, each observation is assigned a frequency of 1. The FREQ statement is not compatible with panel models that you specify by using the ERRORCOMP= option.
