PARTIALDEPEND Procedure
ANALYSISVARIABLE Statement
The ANALYSISVARIABLE statement names the analysis variable for which to compute the partial dependence. You can specify one or two ANALYSISVARIABLE statements. If you specify only one statement, PROC PARTIALDEPEND produces a PD plot of the analysis variable. If you specify two statements, the procedure computes the two-way PD for the two analysis variables and does not produce a PD plot.
You can specify the following options:
-
LEVELINDEXVARIABLE=variable
specifies a variable that defines how to order the levels that are read from the nominal levels table.
-
LEVELSTABLE=libref.data-table
specifies a table of levels of the nominal analysis variable(s). libref.data-table is a two-level name, where libref refers to the library, and data-table specifies the name of the output data table. For more information about this two-level name, see the DATA= option and the section Using CAS Sessions and CAS Engine Librefs.
-
MAX=number
specifies the maximum value of an interval analysis variable.
-
MAXLEVELS=number
-
specifies the maximum number of levels to use for a nominal analysis variable. The value of number must be between 2 and 100, inclusive.
By default, MAXLEVELS=10.
-
MIN=number
specifies the minimum value of an interval analysis variable.
-
NBINS=number
-
specifies the number of bins to use for an interval analysis variable. The value of number must be between 2 and 100, inclusive.
By default, NBINS=10.
-
REPORTMISSING
reports missing values of the analysis variable.
